What if we were to become the water ourselves? ZEE ME is an experimental couture collection and visual trend forecast that re-interrogates our relationship with the sea. Amidst digital detachment, ecological depletion, and environmental threat, this project explores the wisdom the deep sea holds for us.
Rooted in oceanic myths, marine biology, and existential inquiry, the vision of the ‘modern siren’ took shape: a fluid entity suspended between human and nature, desire and detachment, control and surrender.
The collection embodies a trend scenario, a speculative proposition for an alternative future. A new state of being, one where we do not place ourselves above nature, but learn to exist within it. An echo of the waters from which we originate.
